Membership Dues structure:

                                                            1 Year

Graduate Students                                $25.00

Salary of less than $30,000                   $30.00

Salary of $31,000 to $50,000                $50.00

Salary of $51,000 to $70,000                $55.00

Salary of $71,000 and up                      $65.00

Joint Membership                                 $75.00

 

Sustaining Institutional Memberships:

Benefits include unlimited job postings (regularly $50/posting).

Invitation to Special Reception and recognition in the annual conference program.

Sustaining Departmental/Institutional Membership is $100 Annually

The South Central Modern Language Association depends on member contributions to carry out its work. Help us secure the future of the association by becoming a Friend of the South Central MLA at the Silver, Gold, or Platinum level or by donating any amount that fits your budget.

 

Friends of the South Central MLA. A Friends membership helps subsidize low graduate student membership fees and conference registration, paper prizes, grants, plenary and keynote honoraria and travel expenses, and more. Friends’ names and their contribution levels will appear in our annual conference program, on our website, and on a banner at our annual conference. Friends also receive an invitation to a special reception with the executive officers of the SCMLA and the conference’s plenary speaker.  We thank you for your support!

 

Contribution levels of Friends of the South Central MLA (includes yearly membership dues.) Amount that exceeds regular dues may be tax-deductible, consult your tax professional.

 

Silver Membership:      $150

Gold Membership:        $300

Platinum Membership:  $500

 

 

Give to the South Central MLA. Funds will be used to subsidize graduate student membership fees and conference registration, paper prizes, grants, plenary and keynote honoraria and travel expenses, and more.  No amount is too small!  Many thanks for your support.
